1. The service

MealCircle helps households plan meals together. You are responsible for the content you add (dishes, preferences, posts, invitations) and for keeping your account access to yourself.

2. Subscriptions

MealCircle Plus and Pro are auto-renewing subscriptions. On iOS they are billed to your Apple ID through the App Store; on other platforms via Razorpay. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. On iOS you can manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

3. Content and conduct — zero tolerance

There is zero tolerance on MealCircle for objectionable content and for abusive behaviour towards other people. Anything you add to Mealgram — a dish photo, a caption, a comment, a profile picture, a username, a channel name — and anything you write in an invitation must not be unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, threatening, violent, discriminatory, deceptive, or an impersonation of someone else. Posting it costs you your account.

This is how that is enforced, and all of it is already in the app:

• Screening before anything is published. Every photo is checked before it is stored, and refused if it breaches these terms — a photo that cannot be checked is not stored at all. Captions, comments, usernames and channel names are screened the same way as they are written.
• Reporting. Every post, comment and profile carries a Report action, and every report reaches us.
• Blocking and hiding. You can block any account from its profile. A blocked account cannot follow you, see what you post, or reach you, and you will not see anything of theirs. You can also hide someone’s stories without blocking them.
• Acting within 24 hours. We review every report and, within 24 hours, remove content that breaches these terms and suspend the account that posted it. A suspended account cannot post again.

Separately from what you post: do not attempt to disrupt other people’s circles, do not reverse engineer the apps or services, and do not use MealCircle to send anyone unsolicited messages.

To report content or an account, use Report in the app, or write to info@mealcircle.in. We answer every report.

4. Your data

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and its data from Profile → Delete Account in the app.
